If we could give more than 5 stars, we would in a heartbeat. Selling our apartment and buying a new house simultaneously in a tough seller’s market with a low budget sounded completely daunting, but working with Andrea Sorrentino and Michael Christie was the best decision we could have possibly made. From day one, they treated us like high-priority VIPs. They took the time to understand what we were looking for, navigating the tricky balance between my husband’s and my differing preferences and attitudes with grace and humor. They were seamlessly in control of the entire process, serving as the central liaison between us, our lawyer, our mortgage broker, and the sellers’ agents. When stress levels ran high, they navigated those anxieties for us, keeping us confident and grounded every step of the way. And when it came to getting results, they were powerhouses. On our sale, they negotiated an extra $30,000 out of a bidder on our apartment, maximizing our value. On our purchase, hen we put together our repair rider, they didn't just ask for what we wanted, they negotiated for even more than we asked for, proving how fiercely they protect their clients' best interests. When our bank raised concerns about potential water intrusion and threatened to hold up our mortgage, they jumped straight into action, coordinating directly with the repair contractor to secure the exact letter the bank needed to clear us. Their care didn't stop at the closing table, either. A week after we moved in, they called just to check on how we were settling into our new home and shared contacts for their own vetted professionals to help us with future projects. They made us feel important, protected, and completely taken care of. We are so incredibly happy in our new home, and we owe it all to Michael and Andrea. If you want agents who bring top-tier negotiation skills, tireless work ethic, and genuine heart to the table, look no further.

Finding a home can be a stressful process, but Andrea and Michael made it feel effortless. They took the time to truly understand our requirements and showed us exactly what we were looking for. We were in contract on a home we love within 14 days. Most importantly, they never tried to push us into a deal, they were a true advocate for what we wanted. Their professionalism and responsiveness are top-notch!

If I could give 6/5 stars I would. Truly went above and beyond at every step of the process to find us our first home. Classy, reasonable, professional, kind and followed through on every single promise/recommendation made. It sounds corny but they really did have our best interests in mind; you're in good hands with Andrea and Michael!

Having bought and sold several homes over the years I can honestly say that my experience with Andréa Sorrentino and Mike Christie of Douglas Elliman was by far the best. They were always well informed, courteous and most of all respectful. They respected my time and they respected my opinion while still getting potentials buyers to my home. Their ability to communicate with me was second to none. Selling a home is always an emotional experience and their team was always cognizant of that while still navigating the sale of a unique home like mine.
